Indian men clinch silver in golf team event

A four-round aggregate of 849 gives the Indian team the second place in a field of 17 teams.

The Indian men's quartet of Gaganjeet Bhullar, Anirban Lahiri, Chiragh Kumar and Joseph Chakola clinched the silver medal in the Asian Games golf team event on Monday.

A four-round aggregate of 849 gave the Indian team the second place in a field of 17 teams.

Spearheaded by Bhullar, India finished just one stroke ahead of Chinese Taipei.

The gold went to Korea (836) while Chinese Taipei took the bronze (850).
