Indore seniors win State Yoga competition

INDORE DISTRICT senior team lifted the Vth State-level Yoga competition while the boys? and girls? junior teams had to be satisfied with second position.

INDORE DISTRICT senior team lifted the Vth State-level Yoga competition while the boys’ and girls’ junior teams had to be satisfied with second position.

Indore district senior team showed their superiority by scoring 504 points to lift the title. In the boys’ junior category Indore district scored 413 to win the second position. The girls team scored 243.5 to be satisfied with runners-up position. Indore District Yoga Association office bearers and members have congratulated the team for the brilliant performance.

Indore Corpn lift ball badminton title
HOSTS INDORE Corporation lifted the Second Excellence Cup inter-club ball badminton championship played at DAVV courts. More than 80 players from various clubs took part in the championship.

In the finals, Indore Corporation defeated Indore District in the thrilling final by 35-32, 33-35, 40-38 to lift the title. Indore District Ball Badminton Club president Dharmesh Yashlaha was the chief guest who distributed the prizes to winners and runners-up.

Yuva Sangathan win

YUVA SANGATHAN, Sanyogitaganj won the Maheshwari inter-association cricket tournament while Maheshwari Sports Club had to be satisfied with the second position, at Yeshwant Club grounds.

Yuva Sangatan stamped their supremacy to bag the title for the fourth successive year. Mehar Cement vice president P M Intodia was the chief guest. He distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up.

Eminent rout Jagdale

HOSTS CHRISTIAN Eminent Higher Secondary School (B) routed Jagdale School by eight wickets to steer into the last eight stage, in the Christian Eminent Trophy for Under-19 cricket tournament.
Batting first Jagdale School scored 107 in 25 overs. Mohit Singh scored an unbeaten 47. Ankit Gohar, Faraz Wahid and Gaurav
Patel took two wickets each.

In reply the hosts Christian Eminent (B) surpassed the required target losing two wickets. Ankit Yadav scored 35 and helped his team to sail into the quarterfinals.

Nitish, Alok in final

NITESH PRAJAPAT and Alok Saha would clash for the title in the junior boys’ category while the junior girls’ finals would be played between Ami Kamani and Nilima Bundela in the inter school table tennis tournament organised by Guru Harkrishan Public School under the aegis of Indore District Table Tennis Association played at Siddharth Soni Sports Academy.

Jai Balbhim wrestling

JAI BALBHIM wrestling competition organised by Sarwajanik Balbhim Vyayamshala Trust. Shyam Yadav of Malharashram and Shambhu’s bout was interesting as both the wrestlers showed consummate skill. The bout ended in a draw after three minutes. In the second bout Vivek Prajapat defeated Jay Kushwah. Corporator K K Yadav was the chief guest and he congratulated the wrestlers.
