The ghastly incident occurred in Chinaur under Sadar Bazaar police station in Shahjehanpur district

According to the police, a person named Sunil was on his way to his in-laws' residence on a motorcycle with his wife Pushp Kali when his nephew Dharmveer, accompanied by two other men, stopped the vehicle near a grave. Dharmveer was angry with Sunil for his refusal to divide the ancestral property

In a fit of anger Dharmaveer and his two associates opened fire on Sunil and his wife after a brief talk with them near Shahganj.

Dharmveer killed his uncle and aunt and then the two youth accompanying him picked up their children, Anurag, 1, and Raju, 2, and banged them on the ground several times. He then threw huge boulders on the children, crushing them. Still not satisfied, Dharmveerdra took out a big knife and slit the throats of the two children.

A man hunt has been launched to nab Dharmaveer and his two associates.
