"We are keeping our fingers crossed, as now, all the passes in the Kashmir Valley are clear," he told reporters here.

"Infiltration is taking place because infrastructure, including launching pads and training camps, are still functional across the border," Mukherjee said.

Commenting on the Army Chief's recent statement that 2,000 militants were lodged in PoK camps along the LoC, the Defence Minister said, "We just can not go and burst the training camps of militants in Pakistan."

"We have been reminding Pakistan about President Gen Pervez Musharraf's statement of January 2004 where he had said terrorist would not be allowed to use his country's soil.

"We have been reminding Pakistan to implement Gen Parvez Musharraf's statement," he said.
