Toyota cars dealers in Ahmedabad and in Vadodara said they have decided to pull back print advertisements and campaigns featuring the star in the state.

Khan is the brand ambassador of Toyota Innova.

Advertising agencies handling the campaigning for the two dealers in Ahmedabad and Vadodara, have decided to discontinue using print advertisements, posters and hoardings of the star, an agent handling the advertisement campaign said.

"The two Toyota Innova dealers have decided to discontinue using Aamir's face on their advertisements as they wish to support the stand taken by Gujarat as the actor has taken an anti-Gujarat stand on two occassions," Sandeep Shah, who, handles the local advertising for Infinium Toyota at Ahmedabad, said.

"The local dealers of Toyota Innova do not want to hurt the sentiments of their customers who come to their showroom and see posters, cut-outs and hoardings of a personality who has taken a stand against their state and its requirements," Shah added.
