Inside story
Actor Rajeev Khandelwal of Aamir fame talks about his sweet home and how he keeps it clean and beautiful.
My house is at Riddhi Gardens, in Goregaon. The Film City is close by and the highway. The airport are just a stone’s throw away.

The flat has two bedrooms which is perfect for a bachelor. Everything has either been hand-picked by me or gifted to me.
My fans have made contributions to the décor with items like wind chimes and over a hundred idols.
Colour riot
The ceiling has been painted black. It reflects the way I tend to think — in extremes. The walls are red.
I’m not a narcissist, but earlier, I had 15-20 pictures of mine on the walls but I have taken them off. I have made a fresh start with Aamir I don’t want to remember the past.
I don’t host parties. To be honest, I don’t even like people coming over. But I love my near and dear ones visiting me.
Be it the sofa or the doormat, I am possessive about each and every thing in my house. Being a bookworm, I have a mini-library in my bedroom. The collection is huge. When I buy a bigger place, I will expand it.
I’m a cleanliness freak. When I get back from a long shoot of three to four days, I must find the house spic and span.
Perfect look
I have a habit of picking up handicrafts from the places I visit. I have a bow and arrow set, drums, spears, masks and a Nepali knife.
Most of the time, you will find me in the living room.
That’s where I relax, watch TV listen to music or work on the laptop.
The bedroom is for the bedtime stories.
