Inter-school singing competition held
AN INTER-SCHOOL group singing competition was held here at Ragendra Swarup Centre of Performing Arts on Tuesday. About 16 ICSC and ISC schools took part in the competition, which was organised Dr Virendra Swarup 21st Century School. The programme started with the singing of a beautiful song ?The cup of life? by students of the host school. After which, students of other schools sang various songs and made the whole atmosphere melodious.

The programme started with the singing of a beautiful song ‘The cup of life’ by students of the host school. After which, students of other schools sang various songs and made the whole atmosphere melodious.
The schools bagging the first and the second position were Dr Virendra Swarup School, Kidwai Nagar and Mother Teresa Mission respectively. The winners were awarded a winning trophy and a cash reward of Rs 1100, sponsored by the Round Table-57.
The judges of the competition were HoD of music department, AND College Dr Renu Nigam and HoD of music department, Kanpur University Satish Chandra.
Virendra Swarup 21st Century School principal Urvashi Bajpai felicitated Dr Renu Nigam and Satish Chandra. Those present on the occasion were Mini Swarup, Alakshendra Swarup, Neha Swarup and others. Urvashi Bajpai proposed a vote of thanks.
