IPS Academy conducts fire survey at MCTE

THREE PROFESSORS of Department of Fire Technology IPS Academy have given suggestions to Military College of Telecommunication and Engineering to contain risk and to install ultra modern equipment in the maiden fire audit survey conducted in the College.

THREE PROFESSORS of Department of Fire Technology IPS Academy have given suggestions to Military College of Telecommunication and Engineering to contain risk and to install ultra modern equipment in the maiden fire audit survey conducted in the College.

After the seven-day survey, the auditors submitted a comprehensive report to the College. These suggestions have been forwarded to Military headquarters at Delhi. This information was given by Department of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering, IPS Academy Head of Department professor AL Mehta.

He revealed that Military College of Telecommunication and Engineering had given the responsibility of audit of fire fighting and safety equipment to Department of Fire Technology.

The College had also asked for suggestions. The audit was conducted by Professor AL Mehta, Professor Praven Patel and Sharad Jain. During the audit the three-member team conducted study of the usefulness of the fire extinguishing equipment. Lieutenant General SC Datar has expressed gratitude towards Department of Fire and Safety for the report.
