Iraq's domestic state television resumed broadcasts on Monday after a disruption which a source at the Information Ministry said was probably caused by bomb damage to the ministry in Baghdad.

Progammes began at about 12:30 p.m. (0930 GMT), four hours later than usual, showing singers dressed as soldiers waving assault rifles and singing songs in praise of President Saddam Hussein.
The station does not normally broadcast overnight but it failed to come back on the air in the morning after a US-led air raid that damaged the Information Ministry building.
