Jammu and Kashmir government has handed over cheques of Rs one lakh ex-gratia and another Rs 50,000 from the chief minister's relief fund to the kin of a civilian killed in an ambush in Baramullah district.

Bashir Ahmad Khan of Rawoocha village was killed in an ambush in Rafiabad area of Baramulla on November 10.
JKPCC Vice President Abdul Gani Vakil visited Khan's house and handed over two cheques—to the bereaved family on Wednesday, an official said on Thursday.
Vakil also conveyed Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's sympathies to the family.
