Rowling is suing eBay for breach of copyright, and has managed to obtain a court injunction that bans the site from listing illegal copies of her books.

Akash Chittranshi, her lawyer, said that the author’s decision to sue the internet auction portal was important as it was the first time eBay had been forced to take measures to prevent e-books being sold.

"This is the first time eBay has been compelled to take measures to prevent e-books being sold," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for July 21 to come, for that’s the day when the seventh and final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be hitting book stores the world over.

Rowling has already termed the book as the best in her series, and insists that it is the best way in which the adventures of the boy wizard and his friends can come to an end.

Fans are also waiting to see which two characters Rowling has killed off.
