Police chief of Jammu zone, Rajesh Kumar has reviewed the security arrangements concerning the Machail yatra in Kishtwar hills of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police chief of Jammu zone, Rajesh Kumar has reviewed the security arrangements concerning the Machail yatra in Kishtwar hills of Jammu and Kashmir.

IGP Rajesh Kumar, on Tuesday visited the Machail shrine along with SSP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal, a police spokesman said here on Wenesday.

The IGP paid obeisance to Machail Mata and also met the members of the management committee of the Machail yatra and took review of security measures, the spokesman said.

Annual Machail Yatra will start from August 1 with Chhari Mubarak in Jammu city.

Later, the IGP Jammu took stock of the law and order arrangements in connection with forthcoming festivals with officers of district police, the spokesman added.
