Jawan injured in mine blast
An army jawan was injured in a land mine blast during patrolling on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said in Jammu on Tuesday.

An army jawan was injured in a land mine blast during patrolling on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said in Jammu on Tuesday.
Patrolling party of 13 Dogra unit were guarding forward area along the LoC when the jawan Naik Raj Kumar stepped on the landmine, resulting an explosion at Janki Nallah area in Balakote sub-sector of Poonch district on Monday night, they said.
In the explosion, Kumar lost his left foot, they said, adding he was shifted to base hospital in Poonch.
