Jaya Prada declares assets of more than 11 cr
Actor Jayaprada, who filed her nomination papers as the Samajwadi Party candidate for this parliamentary constituency here today, declared assets of more than Rs 11 crore.
Actor Jayaprada, who filed her nomination papers as the Samajwadi Party candidate for this parliamentary constituency here today, declared assets of more than Rs 11 crore.
In an affidavit to the Election Commission, the actor said that her bank balance amounted to Rs 81,13,000 and she had Rs 3,15,000 in cash.
The sitting MP said she had gold worth Rs 17 lakh and silver worth Rs 30,000.
Her other investments were Rs 30,66,000 in the Jayaprada Entertainment Trust and Bonds amounting to Rs 37,66,000.
The actor also owned three cars -- one Chevrolet, one Zen and one Ford Ikon -- valued at Rs 13 lakh.
Also included in her assets was a house in Chennai worth Rs eight crore, one house in Hyderabad worth Rs 1.20 crore and a house in a Chennai village worth Rs 30 lakh.
She said her spouse had a bank balance or Rs 1,75,000.
