Nine aspirants filed their nomination papers in Orissa to contest the Lok Sabha polls while PCC President and former Chief Minister J.B. Patnaik submitted his papers to contest from the Begunia Assembly constituency today.

On the fourth day of filing of nominations for the second phase elections, Patnaik submitted his documents at the sub-collector's office at Khurda, official sources said.
His wife and Congress nominee from Cuttack, Jayanti Patnaik also filed her papers during the day as also party candidates for Bhadrak(sc) and Jagatsinghpur, Muralidhar Jena (Bhubaneswar) also filed their documents today as also Shanti Das of Samajwadi Party and Kulamani Sahu (Ind) for the Bhubaneswar seat.
BJP candidate Bhagirathi Majhi also filed his papers for the Mayurbhanj seat.
Elections, both to the Lok Sabha and Assembly, are to be held in two phases in Orissa on April 20 and 26.
