Jet-Sahara row: the deal's done

They sat across the negotiating table again after nine months. If it was Naresh Goyal's Mumbai residence that became the venue for the negotiations last time, the scene got shifted to Mumbai's Hilton Towers this time. "Discussions were on for the last 36 hours," said a source close to the negotiations.
Jet team was led by Chairman Naresh Goyal, his wife, Anita Goyal, Executive Director Saroj Datta, executive vice president (Finance) Raja Parthasarathi, General Manager marketing Gaurang Shetty, a team of officials from legal advisory firm, Gagrats &Co, including Rustam Gagrat and senior advocates Harish Salve and Janak Dwarkadas.
The Sahara team was led by Air Sahara President Alok Sharma, legal officials from the advisory firm BSK Legal, and officials from Ernst and Young including the country head Rajiv Mehmani.
Sahara chief Subrato Roy was conspicuous by his absence.
