Jilted lover stabs to death mother of two, kills self
A 40-year-old man brutally stabbed to death a 32-year-old woman in Uttranchal Colony on Monday, police said. The accused died of self-inflicted injuries soon after the incident. The police said that the accused was in love with the victim, a married woman with four children.

Locals alerted the police after they spotted the blood-stained bodies with deep knife injuries inside the victim's house inLoni.
According to preliminary investigation, the woman used to live in a different locality, close to her present residence, with her family. The accused, Prem Kumar, was not married and used to visit the house frequently as he their neighbour.
"After he started to make some advances at the victim, the family moved to Loni. But the man did not stop visiting their house," said Prashant Kumar, senior superintendent of police (SSP).
According to police, Kumar visited the victim on Monday morning while her husband had to attend a marriage function in Baghpat.
"He sent her minor son to a nearby shop with some money. When the child returned after some time, he found the blood-stained bodies of his mother and Kumar," the SSP added.
Officials said Kumar had one-sided feelings for the victim and probably made advances at her when she was alone in the house. Sources say the accused had been forcing the woman to leave her husband and stay with him, leading to an altercation.
"He stabbed the woman to death and inflicted fatal injuries on himself. The woman bore around 4-5 knife injuries while Kumar sustained nearly 7-8 injuries," the police said.
