JK DGP directs forces for smooth conduct of Amarnath yatra

Khoda, who reviewed security arrangements of Amarnath yatra at a high-level meeting in Amarnath on June 15, asked them to make efforts to provide all basic amenities at various transit and lodging centres across Jammu division.

The meeting reviewed security and other aspects pertaining to facilities being extended to pilgrims during their stay at the base camp at Yatri Niwas here and other lodging centres.

The DGP alongwith senior officers also visited the base camp of the Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar here and reviewed the security arrangements.

The meeting was also attended by IGP Jammu zone K Rajendra Kumar, IG BSF A K Sarollia, IG CRPF R C Payal.
