JK Governor to hold public hearing

J&K Governor N N Vohra will hold a public hearing in the civil secretariat in Srinagar, two days before the darbar move to Jammu.

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra will hold a public hearing in the civil secretariat in Srinagar on October 29, two days before the darbar move to Jammu.

According to a Raj Bhavan spokesperson, individuals and deputations comprising groups of persons, desirous of meeting the Governor have been asked to fix their appointments with the Governor's secretariat.

This will be third public hearing of the Governor this month and last before the seat of government shifts to winter capital, Jammu as part of the practice established by the Dogra rulers of the state before Independence.

Earlier, the Governor had held two such public hearings, on October 15 and 22, apart from his routine meetings with the public representatives at the Raj Bhavan.
