John is not the only one to whom Bipasha has assigned a special ringtone. For example she knows it's her maid calling when the cell crows in close imitation of the cocks in her native Bengal. However the ring is much more sedate when the caller is unfamiliar to Bipasha.
There's a method to her mobile madness, the dusky beauty explains. "I have developed quite a craze for new ringtones. I love downloading and then trying them out. Besides some very strange voices, my collection also includes various other sounds - birds, animals, Hindi film songs and remix hits. After playing each one of them, I decided to personalise the ringtones on my mobile phone so that I know who is calling without bothering to look at the number," she says.
Bipasha admits she had a reason for choosing an oomphy male voice to announce John's calls. "Everyone knows the kind of relationship John and I share. I therefore wanted a ring tone that would make me feel romantic each time he was on the line," she gushes.
According to the former Kolkata supermodel, her maid also plays an important role in her life. "My maid helps me manage my day-to-day work and we are in constant touch. She is from my hometown in Bengal. Whenever she calls I hear the cocks crow like they usually do back home in my village and it reminds me of everything I have left behind," she says.
Bipasha insists each ring tone is special to her, just like the men and women they are meant for. "There are some other beautiful sounds in my mobile. They are assigned to people who mean something to me in the film industry," claims the Jism girl.
