The former Bharatiya Janata Party national president said farmers, traders and unemployed were neglected by the governments, which were pushing the country towards slavery. He expressed the apprehension that farmers’ condition would deteriorate further in the next ten years.

The prices of essential commodities were being raised under the pressure of foreign powers, he added. If the Government did not curb the price hike, then common people would suffer a lot in the next few months.

Lashing out at the Mulayam Singh Government, Joshi said the entire State was in the grip of criminals.

People who came from trans- Yamuna and trans-Ganga areas submitted memorandums to Joshi.

Joshi also visited the Dhaiya Kothi where he met the bereaved family members of former Prime Minister VP Singh’s brother Rajendra Prasad Singh. Rajendra passed away here recently.
