Former DSP Prabal Pratap Singh and police inspector RP Singh would on July 31 record their statements before retired Judge O P Garg appointed by the Allahabad High Court to conduct the probe, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shishir told reporters in Meerut on Monday.

Garg also issued notices to former Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Sabharwal and former city SP SS Yadav to appear before him on August 1, former Additional District Magistrate SC Dubey on August 2, former DM Ram Krishan on August 3 and some power corporation engineers on August 4.

The Commission 10 days ago had deferred till August 24, the deposition of the former DM due to the lawyers' strike in western Uttar Pradesh in protest against the killing of a colleague.
