"In future, it will be easier for refugees from west Pakistan to get recruited in paramilitary forces, which is a welcome step, more concessions for West Pakistani Refugees will follow in other areas as well. There are areas such as banking and central public undertakings in which the West Pakistani Refugees can be given concessions," Jugal said.

"It is rather a huge welcoming step that the home minister has asked his colleagues to accord similar concessions. The department of school education also has been asked to extend admission in the Kendriya Vidalaya in the state for the children of WPR and similar instructions have also been issued to the department of higher education to extend admission to technical and professional Institutes outside J&K", he added.
Jugal said that the WPR will be fully rehabilitated in the days to come.

"They will enjoy full Indian citizenship rights something they have never done before", he said.
