The police refused to reveal the names of the accused, saying it would hamper their investigations.

The two servants had been employed by Shah only for two days before they strangulated her and fled from her residence in Barfiwala Lane at Juhu.

Shah’s body was found by her sister Ila Mehta, 74, a resident of Andheri (East), who went to Shah’s residence when she didn’t answer her phone calls.

The police said that since Shah had employed the two servants only two days ago, nobody knew them. Only one of Shah’s previous servants had seen the duo who is now providing vital inputs to the police.

“We have vital information about the duo and will soon nab them,” said Arun Bhagat, senior police inspector of Juhu police station.
