Justice Katju to deliver lecture on Mediation

SUPREME COURT Judge, Justice Markandey Katju, would deliver a lecture on ?Mediation?, at a programme organised by Samvaad, a group of lawyers, at Judges Guest House, Drummond Road here on October 6 at 4.30 pm.

Giving this information, convenor of the programme, Vivek Prasad Mathur, said that senior advocate, Sriram Panchu will deliver keynote address.

Convenor of the programme, Jayant Banerji, said that high court judge Justice Dr BS Chauhan would preside over the function.

A noted member of Samvaad family, Sanjiv Singh, said that the lecture was dedicated to late Munshi Ambika Prasad, a renowned High Court lawyer of yesteryears. To recall, Justice Katju was a lawyer of the Allahabad High Court, who later became the judge of this court. Thereafter, he became the Chief Justice of Madras and Delhi High Court. Thereafter, he was elevated as Judge of Supreme Court.
