K P Cricket Academy to be inaugurated tomorrow
K P CRICKET Academy, the first cricket academy of Indore, will be inaugurated on April 20 at Holkar College grounds. District Collector Vivek Aggarwal will inaugurate the academy, while MPCA secretary Sanjay Jagdale and Holkar College principal Mehta will preside over the function along with MPCA joint secretary Subhash Bais.

The convener of the academy is former MP Ranji captain and wicket keeper Keerti Patel. He said that 50-60 players would be given admission in the first phase and leading cricketers of Indore would give tips to the boys. The inauguration will take place at 8.30 am.
Swimming camp
SWIMMING COACHING camp began at City Gymkhana on Monday. MLA Sajjan Singh Verma inaugurated the swimming camp. More than 150 swimmers are taking part in one-month camp in the age group of 5 to 60 years. Joshi and Banti Mithora would be the coaches. The organisers have arranged separate coaching for children and women.
Basketball tourney
MICRO MINI state level basketball tournament for U-10 boys and girls in memory of Dr J M Sharma will begin on April 21 at Nehru Stadium. The tournament is organised by Corporation Basketball Association, Indore.
This is the first time that the association is organising the tournament for the under-10 category. President of the association Dr K N Saxena said that 30 teams consisting of 300 players from all parts of the state would take part in the tournament.
Blitz Chess
BLITZ CHESS competition organised by Friends Chess Club will begin on April 23 at Hanuman Mandir Nehru Nagar Road. Interested players to take part in the competition may contact Sanjay Kushwah.
Cricket camp
SUMMER CRICKET coaching camp organised by Khanuja Cricket Club will begin on April 25 at Vivekananda Higher Secondary School.
President of the club Sanjay Lunawat said that the camp would be held for age group of 8 to 17 years.
Yogesh Jagdale would be the chief coach assisted by Sunil Dudhale, Kapil Shindge, Indrajit Singh Heer, Narendra Rathore, Santhosh Nairm Sadiq Sheikh, Narayan Iyer.
Secretary of the club Kanwaljeet Khanuja said apart from cricket coaching, boys would be taught yoga and rules and regulations of the game by Rajesh Walecha, Prhalad Singh Rathore, Jitendra Diyalani and Rajesh Patidar.
