The Worcestershire all-rounder secured his place in the squad for this summer with an impressive performance for England in a practice match against an Australian XI this winter. Kabir made a good impression at the National Academy in Adelaide and was promoted to the one-day squad due to injuries. The part-time model took two wickets in three balls to snatch a tie for Worcestershire against Zimbabwe earlier this summer.
