STATE LALIT Kala Akademi will organise a summer training camp at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth from May 26 to June 25.

Giving this information to media persons on Friday, member of the State Lalit Kala Akademi, Dr Premchandra Srivastava said that Vice-Chancellor of MGKV, Prof. SS Kushwaha would be the chief guest of the inauguration function of summer training camp whereas Prof. Manjula Chaturvedi, head of Visual Arts at MGKV would preside over the function.
Dr. Srivastava said that experts of university level would impart training of different vocational courses. He further added that the about 14 different vocational courses were included in the training camp.
“Main vocational courses included in the training camp are oil painting, Kolaj painting, glass painting, textile designing, pottery/ceramic designing, photography and photography journalism”, he said.
He informed that the aspirants of between the age group of 10 year to 17 year could get admission against Rs 250 whereas the aspirants of above the age group of 18 years could get admission in this training camp against Rs 300.
He further said that the aspirants would get certificates of Lalit Kala Akademi after attending the summer training camp.
