The team, led by an ACP rank police official, reached Kanda’s residence around 12pm.

After detaining the person, the family members were questioned for over an hour. “The Delhi police seem to be using pressure tactics to force Kanda to surrender” said a Gurgaon police official.

An eyewitness said the Kanda family looked worried and followed the police vehicle after it left their residence.

In another development, a three-member team of National Commission of Woman visited Kanda’s MDLR office in Gurgaon. The team questioned the staff for more than two hours.
