The TV channel’s general manager (Finance) G Rajendran told CBI — probing the 2G spectrum scam — that Kanimozhi and Kumar were present as per the minutes of board meeting.
Similarly, P Amirtham, director of Kalaignar TV and a case witness, told CBI, “On being asked, I state that Kanimozhi was a founder director of Kalaignar TV ... She used to take keen interest in day-to-day affairs of the company”.
He said Kalaignar TV had taken an unsecured loan of R200 crore from Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd at a lower interest rate and the latter was "pressing hard" for refund of the loan. This happened after CBI summoned former telecom minister A Raja for questioning

Kanimozhi has refused to divulge details of her income-tax returns, arguing that they are confidential and she cannot be forced to reveal such information under the RTI Act.
Accepting Kanimozhi's stand, I-T department rejected RTI application seeking copies of her tax returns from 2006-07 to 2010-11.
