Karnataka Knowledge Commission term extended for 2 more yrs
The term of the Karnataka Knowledge Commission, set up to suggest measures to improve the quality of higher education in the state, was on Saturday extended by two more years.

State chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda made the announcement after the Commission Chairman and noted space scientist Dr K Kasturi Rangan called on him to present the final report.
The term of the Commission set up three years ago expires by September 30.
Gowda told reporters that the Commission has done a laudable job and that 12 of its 22 recommendations had been implemented by the state government.
