All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) president Moti Koul on Tuesday said constitution of a board was essential to take care of the community, including formulation of measures for the return of its people in exile.

AIKS is the apex body of several organisations of Kashmiri Pandits.

He alleged that the state government was spending just 30 per cent of Centre's assistance for their welfare.

Koul appealed for introduction of Kashmiri Hindu Shrine Bill in the state legislature for consolidation of community's shrines and assets.
