In the first pre-quarterfinal match, Kannur thrashed Calicut 60-42. After the good performance by BU yesterday, Kannur team that has been outstanding in league matches repeated its performance.

Once again the duo Bina and Deepa of Kannur scripted win for the team by playing in a disciplined manner. Both dominated the rival teams in the entire match. They scored 17 and 16 points respectively. Ligi scored 12 points for Calicut.

Second pre-quarterfinal saw the domination of Kerala over Usmania team. With the help of Nimisha and Ligi Matthew, Kerala win the tie 38-25. They scored 12 and 11, respectively.

In the last pre-quarterfinal, Chennai thumped Bangalore 49-32.
