Khushwant Singh's diatribe on religious conversion (Of religious converts and other humbugs) sounds illogical, as he knows "only a few of them". If he has the freedom to listen to religious music, because he is religiously attached to it, then those who convert also have some sort of emotional legacy.

I do agree that all those going for prayer may be imposters but they do so because of emotional attachment or inner liking just as Mr Singh likes music.

I have a humble request to Mr Singh: shave off your hair and beard, as these are symbols of a hypocrite. After all, there must be a true synchronisation between what a man says and what he does.
