A section of the engineers of the Vijay Mallya-promoted airline has not been reporting for duty from Wednesday over non-payment of monthly salaries from March. “All Kingfisher Airlines pilots have threatened to strike work from Monday," a source among the pilots told PTI.
It would be for the first time that pilots from both Delhi and Mumbai will be striking work if they decide to go ahead with the threat as so far only a section has resorted to a strike.
A Kingfisher Airlines spokesperson was not available for comment.
