An Indian team spokesman confirmed on Wednesday that Kumble will be available for the first final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The veteran has not played since his side's 24-run victory over Zimbabwe in Brisbane on January 20.

He sat out India's last two one-day matches in Perth including Tuesday's four-wicket win over Zimbabwe at the WACA Ground.

Kumble played in India's opening four matches of the tri-series, taking two wickets at an average of 95.5.
