A young new teacher was trying to prove to her students that they could do the math problems she was presenting that day.

She said, "Anyone who thinks they are stupid, please stand up."

No one stood up. After a while, a student stood up.

She asked him, "Do you think you are stupid?"

He replied, "No, but I don't want you to stand up there all by yourself."
