A top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander was shot dead by security forces in an encounter in Doda district on Wednesday, official sources said.
Noor Mohammad, an area commander of the LeT, was killed in an encounter in Jaigali area of Doda district this afternoon, they said.
One AK rifle, three magazines and 140 rounds were recovered from the spot.
Mohammad was active in Jaigali for the past one year.
