Let go off these 'white elephants'

I feel it is high time the so-called elite services like IAS, IPS and IFS were abolished. None of the developed countries of the world have these white elephants. Then why do we have to carry the burden of these relics of the British Raj? These services as of today are hotbeds of corruption and we do not get any thing productive by maintaining these white elephants.
