For longer-lasting lipstick : Apply lip colour and blot off the excess, this will help set your colour. Then apply a thin layer of pressed powder and apply colour again. This will give your colour something to cling on to.
Metallic look: Apply a dash of metallic lip-gloss over the lipstick in the center of your lips.
Shimmering lips: The application of shimmer lip colours in golden shades and iced pastels make your lips look supple. Wear moisturising lipsticks or glosses in pearly, candy pink, lilac, silver and gold shades.
For glossy baby lips: Go for a lip gloss in pinks and those with a natural shine.
Colour palette: Bright reds, oranges and pinks are very in. Avoid pale colours as this could give a washed out look.
Customise this according to your makeup to maintain a balance between the make-up of your eyes and lips.
