M&M to raise Scorpio production

India's top utility vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd plans to increase Scorpio production to 180 units per day from present 132, Pawan Goenka, president of automotive sector business, said on Monday.

Mahindra will also begin making the no-frills Logan sedan in a joint venture with Renault and heavy trucks in a deal with a Navistar unit, from 2007.
