Mahajan Jr case: Sahil Zarru taken to Srinagar

Zarru is also likely to be produced before a local court in Srinagar for transit remand.

Sahil Zarru, who allegedly supplied drugs to late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul, was on Friday brought to Srinagar for further investigation in the sensational drug abuse case, a senior police official said.

A Delhi Police team arrived in Srinagar with Zarru for investigation and verification of his contacts in Srinagar, Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar, SA Mujtaba said.

He said the Jammu and Kashmir police would provide assistance to their Delhi counterparts during the probe in the case.

Zarru is also likely to be produced before a local court in Srinagar for transit remand.
