The victim, 27, lodged a complaint against accused Deedar Singh, 23, after she came to know that he had married another woman about 15 days ago, they said.

She alleged that Singh, whom she knew for the past two years, had raped her on a number of occasions on the pretext of marriage. A case has been registered in this regard, the police added.
