Man killed after water tank collapses
A man was killed and five others injured when an overhead water tank collapsed during a fair in Jalalpur village in the district this morning.

A man was killed and five others injured when an overhead water tank collapsed during a fair in Jalalpur village in the district this morning.
The man was killed after being buried under the debris of the tank, Additional Director General of Police Brij Lal
said.
The victim identified as Kamal Singh hailed from Aligarh district.
"Prima facie it seems that due to poor quality of construction work, the tank failed to hold 200 litre water and collapsed," he said, adding the tank was constructed by the 'mela' committee.
