Make-up: Go for muted tones for the lips and eyes as natural shades are hot these days and go with the mood of the season. I use powder compact with a matt finish for the clean look as the gloss-based make the face appear shiny.

Clothes: Tight and hugging clothes are a complete no-no. Choose a short, flowing kurti made of a cotton-mix fabric like lycra. I won’t recommend cotton as it gets crushed very easily. Use cool aqua colours.

Jewellery: Keep it minimal. I prefer delicate jewellery, such as a chain with a pendant and matching earrings. Delicate accessories made of silver and yellow gold look elegant.

Footwear: Only chappals will do in this season! They look cool, sexy and comfortable, and unlike heels, they don’t slip. Go for fun designs in trendy colours.
