Suspected Maoists on Saturday gunned down a local CPI(M) leader in Purulia district.

Suspected Maoists on Saturday gunned down a local CPI(M) leader in Purulia district.
Dinesh Mahto (50) was shot dead at Ghatbera village under Balarampur police station at about 6.30 pm when he was going from his house to a shop.
Mahto has been a target of the Maoists for long.
The CPI(M) have called 12-hour Balarampur bandh tomorrow.
