Singer Mariah Carey refused to leave her dog in New York after it was denied a seat on a flight to Los Angeles. She then dispatched her chauffeur to drive her pet 4,828 km across America.

Mariah was left speechless after the airline she was flying with refused her dog, Jack, a berth in the first class saying he was "too big", celebrity portal femalefirst reported.
However the staff said they would have made an exception for a "famous" pooch.
The ravishing diva said: "They said, 'We'd only allow it for a famous dog.' Please! He has three websites dedicated to him."
