The Gurgaon police have prepared a list of intersections where pedestrian facilities such as demarcation of zebra crossing and stop line for vehicles during red light are required.

"There is heavy traffic flow in sectors 17, 18, IFFCO Chowk, Jalvayu Vihar Chowk, Jharsa Chowk and Rajeev Chowk, but there is no zebra crossing for the pedestrians.

Due to lack of facilities they have to cross the roads risking their lives," DCP (traffic) Bharti Arora said.
