Mayawati demands Bharat Ratna for BSP founder Kanshi Ram

“Today being Kanshi Ram’s birthday, on this occasion I urge the government that to pay tribute to him for his contribution and life long work for uplift of poor and socially backward people, the government should honour him with Bharat Ratna,” Mayawati said in the Rajya Sabha.

“Respected Kanshi Ram worked life long to help weaker sections of people stand on their feet,” she said.
