Shiney Ahuja is in the mood to defend himself. His heroines who have not had some nice things to say about him should now sit back and listen. The actor who was in the Capital as a guest for the annual function of Mother’s Pride School said, “I have always had good things to say about my co-stars. I get along well with them. Do they get along well with me? ”
The actor says that if his Har Pal co-star Preity Zinta had gone on to say that "she wouldn’t spend time with him like she does with Abhishek, Hrithik and their wives", it is because he does not believe in bonding with actors after pack up. Earlier his Hijack co-star Esha Deol had called him an "okay hero" and Gangster actress Kangana Ranaut too had said that unlike Shiney acting was not a game or a set up for her.
“There really is no scope for anyone to meet me outside sets because I am not the kind who will party after shooting is over. I am a family man; I go home and spend time with my wife and one-year-four-months old daughter, Arshiya. Maybe things go against me because I am an introvert…but I think I do talk now.”
The actor has one film in hand — Har Pal, a light- hearted romance that will release soon. “I am reading three scripts. There’s no hurry.”
About the films that haven’t worked he is quick to say that it wasn’t his fault. “I can only take responsibility upto a point. There are other people as well. As long as I have done my part well, I don’t feel responsible if the film bombs.”
